GROUP 1

Single Layer Curtains
A single-layer curtain is a basic, unlined curtain consisting of one sheet of fabric, of any type of fabric.
Sheers are included in this category.
These are Group 1 on the price list.

Detachable Linings
An attachable curtain lining is a fabric panel that is attached behind a curtain using the existing hooks on the curtains. They are removable for cleaning.
When removed from the curtain these are Group 1 on the price list.

Thermal Curtains
A single-layer thermal curtain features one layer of fabric with a coating, typically acrylic or silicone, applied to the back of the main curtain fabric.
Single layer thermal curtains are Group 1 on the price list.
GROUP 2

Detachable Linings

Curtains with 2 layers
A standard lined curtain features an outer layer of curtain fabric with lining made from a blend of polyester and cotton fibers. (polycotton.) This includes curtains with a detachable lining still attached.
Curtains with sewn side seams, (known as English construction). are not included in this category
Standard curtains are Group 2 on the price list.
GROUP 3

Blockout Lined Curtains
A blockout (or blackout) curtain is a window covering that effectively blocks out external light, UV rays, and external noise. The lining is a coated fabric that provides near-total darkness when closed. Held to the light you cannot see light through the lining.
Blockout curtains are Category 3 on the price list.
GROUP 4

Taffeta Curtains
A taffeta curtain is made from taffeta fabric, known for its crisp, smooth texture, subtle sheen, and ability to hold shape well. It produces a distinctive rustling or “scroop” sound when moved. Taffeta curtains are Group 4 in the price list, as are Brocades.

Silk Curtains
A silk curtain is a window treatment made from silk fabric, known for its luxurious, soft feel, natural sheen. These are polyester fabrics and not to be confused with real silk which is a natural fabric. Polyester silk is Group 4 on the price list.

Velvet Curtains
A velvet curtain is a luxurious, plush window treatment made from velvet fabric, known for its distinctive soft, fuzzy texture and subtle sheen.
We no longer clean faux velvets.

Natural Curtains
Curtains made with natural materials such as hemp, linen, cotton, silk or other naturals. All these fabrics require extra care.
They can be unlined and when unlined they are Group 6 on the price list.
When lined they are Group 5 on the price list.
